Colin Turnbull Joins as Senior Associate and Clara Rands Joins as Assistant Planner

DWD are delighted to announce that Colin Turnbull has joined its planning and development team as a Senior Associate and Clara Rands has joined DWD as an Assistant Planner.

Colin joins from WSP where he was an Associate Director leading the planning of large transport and energy projects. He provided in-house consents advice at Crossrail 2 for two years and advised on highways Development Consent Orders (DCOs) for Highways England and Suffolk County Council. He also led the consenting of Centrica’s 49 MW Roosecote battery project and the Hirwaun gas-fired power station DCO.? His experience in planning for major projects will further strengthen DWD’s planning offer and presence in energy and infrastructure.

Colin said “I am very pleased to be joining DWD at this exciting time and look forward to supporting and developing the company’s planning capability.”

Geoff Bullock, partner at DWD, said “We are delighted Colin has decided to join DWD.? He brings a wealth of infrastructure experience with him, particularly in the DCO sector, and will help us in continuing to grow our energy and infrastructure team and service offering.”

Clara joins DWD from Planning Potential and will be a valuable asset within the DWD planning team.?
