Newly Qualified or Graduate Surveyor- General Practice (Commercial)

Job Description

DWD currently have a vacancy for an RICS cognate degree holder with 0-2 years professional experience, wishing to either further their career as a qualified surveyor or to secure their RICS qualification.

The present vacancy is to work in a team comprising of 7 RICS qualified surveyors, including two partners. The role will provide first class professional experience in a wide range of valuation related property work including development advisory, landlord and tenant, valuation, business rates, compulsory purchase and acquisition and disposal.

We welcome applications from candidates with a particular interest in all aspects of valuation and a good grounding in English and Maths and a working knowledge of Excel. We are flexible on the level of existing experience candidates have and can adapt the role to suit the right candidate.

For those unqualified candidates we have an excellent track record supporting surveyors through the APC process. Beyond qualification, we offer excellent prospects for surveyors who enjoy the intellectual and commercial challenges of the work we undertake.

We are looking for a candidate who is able to join our team in early 2018.


We are offering a competitive starting salary and benefits package. DWD cover the cost of RICS subscriptions and all costs of training and sitting the APC, together with appropriate study leave.

Interviews will be held in December and will comprise a meeting with at least two members of the team followed by an assessment test. There will be an opportunity to meet other staff and to discuss the APC process.

Altogether, the interview and test will take about two hours.

Short listed candidates may be asked to attend for a second interview.
