DWD have recently helped secure the authority for the making of a Compulsory Purchase Order in order to secure the development of up to 1,300 homes on a 189 acre site to the West of Tangmere, West Sussex. DWD client Countryside Properties are Chichester District Council’s selected development partner and have been supported in the strategic land assembly/valuation and early stages of the CPO process by DWD.
DWD will continue to support ongoing negotiations with landowners and ensure that all the statutory requirements of the CPO process are met in anticipation of a decision by the Secretary of State.
