DWD has been providing BT with ongoing planning and property advice on a partially surplus site in Newham.
We successfully secured planning permission in early 2018 for an engineering centre on the southern part of the site. DWD has subsequently worked closely with BT and their contractors throughout construction to discharge planning conditions, secure consent for signage and approval for amendments to the scheme. The development has recently been completed.
Alongside DWD’s planning team, DWD’s property team has recently advised BT on the settlement of the site’s ground rent review and we are now working with them to market surplus land and secure a tenant for the northern part of the site.
