Two of DWD?s Associates took part in a mock planning inquiry with two members of the Francis Taylor Building Chambers to gain experience of acting as an expert and giving evidence.
The two Barristers started with opening statements before commencing the evidence in chief. Acting on behalf of the Developer and Council the two members of DWD were then cross examined by the Barristers.
James Pereira QC stepped into the role of the Planning Inspector and led the session. Members of DWD and Francis Taylor Building watched the mock planning inquiry and provided helpful feedback and advice.
Following the inquiry everyone enjoyed some well-deserved drinks.
The event was an excellent learning curve for everyone involved. It was also a good opportunity to get to know members of the Francis Taylor Building better and to explore future opportunities to work together.
