Ben Eyres and Clara Rands represented DWD at the CBRE Property Bike Ride on Thursday 14 June.
The 100km route took place through the Surrey Hills on a rather wet and windy morning, which of course eased the pre-race nerves.
Energised with a sausage butty, we set off over the start line along with a number of other property professionals, kitted out in matching CBRE jerseys.
Leith Hill was a particular highlight, but we were disappointed to find that we were cycling down Combe Lane and not pedalling against the 20% gradient hair pin bend!
It is easy to reminisce on how much we enjoyed the event now that it is over…but on a more serious note, we were proud to represent DWD at such a fun and well organised event, and contribute to raising money for Action for Children.
We are looking forward to take part again next year!
