DWD are delighted that EP UK Investment Limited?s (EPUKI) Eggborough CCGT Project has been nominated for the inaugural National Infrastructure Planning Association (NIPA) Award.? The Project encompasses a new combined cycle gas turbine power station with a gross capacity of up to 2,500 megawatts capable of supplying around 2 million homes, a gas pipeline and other associated development.
DWD were lead consultant on the Project and worked with an excellent team, including the Applicant – EPUKI, AECOM, Fichtner, Ardent and Pinsent Masons.? The Development Consent Order for the Eggborough CCGT Project was granted by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy in September 2018.
We are pleased that the team?s approach to the Project and its proactive engagement with consultees during the application process has been recognised with this nomination.
DWD are hosting two tables at the NIPA Annual Dinner on 21 November 2019 at which the winner of the award will be announced.
