DWD has secured agreement for a charitable exemption for the British Academy of Film & Television Arts (BAFTA) with Westminster City Council in advance of their move to temporary accommodation at 195 Piccadilly.
BAFTA are about to commence a major refurbishment and extension project of their Piccadilly theatre. They have secured a temporary home in the former restaurant accommodation within their existing building on Piccadilly, however the potential business rates liability could have had a major impact on their plans. DWD have secured an agreement in advance with Westminster that their temporary occupation of the new accommodation will qualify for a charitable exemption.
