Last week DWD took part in our annual hiking trip which this year took place in Annecy within the French Alps.
All of the team took part in a hike in the mountains which finished off with spectacular views of Lake Annecy. Some of the team, who were feeling particularly adventurous, chose to ascend Ultra Mountain ?La Tournette?, the highest of the mountains surrounding Lake Annecy with an elevation of 2,351 m. It was worth the climb for the views at the top and the goats we met along the way.
The next day members of the team opted to unwind in their own ways with some choosing a 32km cycle around the lake, some opting for a refreshing swim, and others going for a cultural tour around Annecy.
Staff members all had a great time and have come back feeling refreshed and reenergised.
