DWD are delighted to be working with the Arora Group on the Heathrow West project, which launched its Stage One consultation in April 2019.
The Heathrow West proposal involves a new terminal in the area to the west of Terminal 5 to serve the additional capacity anticipated by the new third runway at Heathrow Airport. This proposal does not include the runway itself or the M25 major junction realignment works. This is an alternative to Heathrow Airport Limited’s proposal for the third runway itself and all necessary infrastructure, including terminals.
DWD are working as part of a multi-disciplinary team assisting Heathrow West in preparing its Development Consent Order (DCO), providing DCO strategy and planning advice, and have helped lead the preparation of the Stage One consultation documents.
The Heathrow West Stage One consultation runs until 25 June 2019, with ten public exhibitions being held over the next few weeks. The link below provides details of the project and the Stage One consultation documents:
