DWD has advised the Airport Industrial Property Unit Trust (AIPUT), part of Aberdeen Standard , on an air cargo warehouse of approximately 6,200 sq ms and ancillary office space on a site of 1.6 hectares at Heathrow Airport for occupation by Cathay Pacific.

The air cargo warehouse is located ‘on-airport’ close to the Heathrow Cargo Terminal and Southern Perimeter Road, adjacent to the IAG World Cargo Centre.  The warehouse is located at the entrance to the cargo tunnel, providing access to all the main terminal buildings on the Airport and its runway apron network.

DWD prepared the planning and advertisement consent applications for the scheme and took the lead in discussions with the local planning authority.  DWD also advised AIPUT on the implication of the Community Infrastructure Levy, co-ordinated the discharge of planning conditions and secured approval for several non-material amendments to the scheme.
